What we collect
When you convert a statement, we receive the PDF you upload and process it in memory to extract transaction data. We do not require an account.
Uploaded PDFs: held in memory only during processing. Not written to any persistent store operated by us. Any transient copies held by our upstream AI providers are deleted within 24 hours per their published retention policies.
Extracted data: returned to your browser and rendered there. We do not store it.
Usage counters and credits: stored in your browser via localStorage, never sent to us.
Payments: processed by Stripe. We receive a payment confirmation with your email and Stripe customer ID for support and VAT purposes only.
Support email: if you email us, we retain the thread to answer.
What we do not do
We do not sell your data.
We do not use your statement data to train any AI model, and our providers are configured to exclude API traffic from training.
We do not share your data with third parties beyond the processors listed below.
Data residency
Static site and API run on Cloudflare Pages, which serves from the nearest edge location. Where the underlying AI provider offers an EU processing region we prefer it. Card data is handled by Stripe, PCI-DSS compliant, and never touches our servers.
Processors
Cloudflare (hosting and edge)
Google (Gemini API) for statement extraction. API traffic is not used for training.
Anthropic (Claude API) as fallback for extraction. API traffic is not used for training.
Stripe for payments.
Resend for outbound transactional email.
Retention
PDFs: not stored beyond the request. Payment records: kept per UK tax law (6 years). Support email: kept for 2 years unless you ask us to delete sooner.
Your rights (UK GDPR)
You can request access, deletion, or export of any personal data we hold on you by emailing [email protected]. We respond within 30 days.
Cookies
We do not set marketing cookies. We use localStorage to track your free-tier count and credit balance, both purely on your device.
Changes
We will update the date at the top when this changes. Material changes will be flagged on the home page for 30 days.
